Thrifted Christmas Decorations

These guys were found in thrift stores years apart.
The bottle brush tree (one of three) I found for 49 cents.
I'm not sure why, but this makes me happy. Although I do not ski.
Presently I am trying to work them into a vignette on my mantle.

I love vintage Christmas knick knacks. I don't seem to have much luck finding them at our local thrift stores. I've checked on e-bay, but they can be expensive. But, then again, I'm not a very skilled e-bay-er.

because they are sweet...

guess what I found this week at Goodwill for $2.00?

Tasha Tudor's Christmas book "Take Joy" it is apparently a valuable book:

Vintage Christmas is always a hit. I prefer making Christmas ornaments and preparing cards at home rather then getting them at stores. This year I have made little bunny wishing merry Christmas and a snowman and guess what every one just lived it.
